Dubbing Blender

Recommended Posts

I've beeen thinking about getting a small coffee grinder at Wal-Mart or K-Mart to use as a dubbing blender. Does anyone have one that they use for this? I've heard they work well but you have to pulse synthetics to keep them from melting. What are your experiences?

I have one of the smaller ones that I use. If you can find the ones that are top loading and have the push down to engage function, thats the one to get. Doesn't melt the synthetics and are easy to clean. I love mine.

I bought a Black and Decker for $9 new at Wally World. Goes in the top and one touch pulse. works great!!!!!!!! The only thing I make sure and do is have a small hobby paint brush to get the corners clean.\

i use one but it turns masterbright to dust when you try to add it to hair

but works great on hair off the skin

watch out mixing lots of colors or you will have more grey fur than you know what to do with

I use a coffee grinder on small blends, and a blender on larger amounts. Both came second hand.

The key to using a coffee grinder is short bursts,,,,, if you leave it on for a few seconds too long,,, it will melt synthetics or destroy the natural fur.
