Fur-Need Help Identifying

Recommended Posts

My dear Mum is a yard-sale, resale store fanatic. She stopped by

today with this. I was thinking it may be some sort of cat...bobcat

or something. The photo doesn't really show true how light it is.

It is almost white. I figured some of you guys would know what it

is. Thanks.

I'd just call it dyed rabbit and stick with that story....

if it's real it sure looks like a cat, and if it's snow leopard it's a big giant huge serious no-no unless you have documents.

Greg, the guard hairs are pretty fine and soft.

Fairly short, too. Maybe an inch, inch-and-a-half.

Thick, thick underfur. I think a cat would have

longer guard hairs.

What is the texture of the fur? Is there heavy guard hairs?

Mike - I would agree with Ray, its likely a bunny. I purchased a white one and gray one a while ago for short money, its a lifetime of dubbing, zonker strips, etc.

Kevan - Keep your loin to your self. LOL
