Seadog 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2009 I just want to say Happy birthday to the United States Marines Corps. It has been 234 years of the best the world has ever seen. Also, with Veteran's day around the corner, I want to say God Bless to all that have served and given the ultimate sacrifice in all the branches of our Armed Forces. blakejd 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2009 Hey Seadog, Just curious what unit and years. I'm probably a young buck by comparison and to be honest I can't claim to be a Marine just had to patch up a few holes you guys seem to attract. 2D MAR DIV most of the time with stankers (Tankers) but the best was Scout/ Reconnaissance (not recon) 1999-2003. JSzymczyk 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2009 I'm a day late, due to Vicodin, but you're right, Happy Birthday. Marines all over the world usually get along well with us Coasties because of the shared history in WWII and beyond. (the only CG Medal of Honor was earned along side Marines at Guadalcanal.) Also happy Veteran's Day. I hope people remember that it's not just a day off. BTW, I'd rather have a Greenside Corpsman work on me than anyone else. Thanks guys.
