wooly bugger color pattern

Standard colors are olives, blacks, and maroon.

 

But with woolies, color combinations are endless.

 

I've always liked Denny Rickard's color combinations he uses on his Seal Bugger. The link below shows a table of the color combinations he uses:

WOW :bugeyes: you might as well ask what kind of vise is best!!!

 

tail/body/hackle color combos that I won't leave the house without are:

black/olive/black

black/black/black

olive/black/olive

chartreuse/yellow/chartreuse

white/white/white

 

don't forget to add a little of whatever color flash to the tail. Then you can add whatever size and color of bead or conehead. There are about a billion possibilities, maybe more.
