Well I went out for the first time this year to actually fish vs taking the fly gear for a walk. After getting short strikes and bad sets for an hour on a wonderful Olive hatch I searched through the swap flys and threw on the Crackleback. BAM!!! Hard and aggressive strike on the first cast. Unfortunately it was such a deep set that I ruined the fly getting it out. Great tie Crackleback. If you get a chance give me a quick recipe for the fly. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hook: tmc 206bl

Thread: 14/0

Trailing shuck: antron yarn(half a strand)

Abdomen: biot

Thorax: arizona sythetic peacock dubbing

Paraloop: natural dun cdc

It's a fairly straight forward tie except for the paraloop. I use the leftover antron from the shuck as a post which I wrap in cdc caught in split thread. This gets pulled over the thorax and tied down. Any questions just ask.
