Hey those in the purple case were mine. I am very sorry for the toe tags. I hadnt noticed when i was sending them out. I should get in the habit of just always toe taggin as easy as it is

We are now only 3 days away from the deadline for our Spring Bluegill Swap. There are several sets of flies that are either in the mail, or will be going into the mail today or tomorrow. However, there are still 3 swappers that I haven't heard from. I've sent PM's to everyone who still has flies out, but haven't gotten a reply from three. If your flies aren't here yet, I need to hear from you about when you think you will get them headed this way. Please either post here, or sent me a PM and let me know. If there are still people I haven't heard from after the 15th, I'll have no choice but to ask the guys who are on the replacement list to submit flies.

 

 

 

Purolohi kalastaja and Flytyer14, you guys might want to begin to think about heading to the bull pen, I may be callling on you after Thursday!

Thanks all for letting me in on my first swap. Take pity on my Bully's Blue Gill Spider. Im still a newbie but am rather proud of the progress that i have made so far. Each of the flies I kept in chronological order as I tied to watch my progress. I was pleased to see the growth. The pain is keeping those rubber legs in a perfect x. Any pointers for the future?

All of the other sets but one are in the mail. There is one member of the swap that I've not been able to get a reply from. I've sent a couple of PMs, and I know that at least one of them has been read. I can check it through the "Message Tracker." Last time I looked, the second PM has not been opened, but the member has visited the website since the 2nd PM was sent. If I don't hear something by tomorrow, which is our deadline, then, as much as I hate to do it, I guess I'll have to make other arrangments.

 

I'll let the rest of you guys know when your flies arrive. Thanks to all of you for being a great group of swappers!

We are really getting close, now. I received flies today from Student4evr and Riffleriversteelheadslayer. Great ties, guys! Really nice flies. Nicely done, as always! And thanks, guys, for the "extras!"

 

We are still waiting on 3 more sets. Mdntn and Guppergoo both have sets in the mail headed this way. There is still one swapper that I haven't heard from. I sent him a "Last Call" PM today, but his email is marked "Private." I'm going to wait until Monday and if I haven't heard anything by then, I'll have to drop him and ask our 1st alternate to get a set in the mail to me. I really hate to have to do that. That's the only part about being a Swapmeister that I don't enjoy. I love a swap when everyone gets their flies in on time, or even close to it. Sorry to hold you guys up on getting your flies back in the mail to you, but I'm trying to be as fair and understanding as I can be. I think this particular swapper is in Law School, and he may have other obligations right now that are keeping him from getting his in. If I hear anything from him, I'll be sure to let you all know ASAP.

 

Does this sound OK to everyone?
