Will K 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2010 This little fly is intended to be fished as a nymph or wet. It's inspiration was to bring two of my favorite patterns into one - the picket pen streamer and zug bug nymph. I mostly fish it tied to hooks ranging 10-16. some times straight, some times on scud hooks. I dont know what they think it is, but it works well and is simple. Just a brass bead head, rusty saddle hackle tail, Peacock herl or peacock colored dubbing (I've found this more durable), silver tinsel rib, rusty saddle hackle collar, squirel tail wing. Hope you guys can catch some on it too
