flyrod98 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2010 Did somebody mention birds? It so happened it warmed up enough on St. Pat's Day to where I felt comfortable sitting outside for a while. These Nut Hatches and Chickadees are like little rockets. They zoom in on a feeder and grab a couple of seeds and they are outa there. These are both new birds for me to observe and photograph. Tight Lines - Gretchen & Al Beatty www.btsflyfishing.com Thanks to you both for taking the time to look. I was inspired by the bird photos that Graham and Wulff used to post and feeding them seemed to be the best way to get them close enough to get decent shots. We want to place some natural perches, later this spring, so that the feeders aren't one of the main elements of the photo. Right now it is snowing like crazy though.
