hook description

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just wondering what CSK stands for in a hook description - as in hopper/stimulator/nymph SE CSK? I know SE=straight eye but CSK? Is it a style of hook or a type of bend?

thanks,

Tim

I didn't find much info at all on Google, but I did find an image of a hook:

Desc: 3X Long - SE - CSK

Maybe this will help someone clarify for us. I always assumed it meant curved shank, but we all knows what happens when you assume.

Thanks flytyer! They are supposedly Tiemco. I was just curious about CSK. Couldn't think of what the k stood for.

I can go with your explanation.
