A Half Dozen Poppers

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the late reply on this thread but those look amazing!! I'm sort of getting into the Popper scene myself and this

is a great inspiration. I'd love to see the doting process if your able to throw up a tutorial.

Thanks again, Pat

Great work ! It looks like you went to a bit denser stippling on the backs of those orange ones? Did you ever find a suitable pre-mixed orange you favored or is that a custom mix?

"Great Pumpkin" I like it!

I may be wrong, but I think he's using Anita's Orange 11012 there.

Yes. The orange is the Anita's Orange 11012 painted on top of Delta Ceramcoat Opaque Yellow. Large Orange Dots are

scattered over the top of the body and a smaller tool used to cover some, but not all, of the yellow between. Then

smaller dots in a couple of sizes were added to the lower sides and smallest of all dots on the bottom. Anita's 11007

Chocolate Brown were placed withing some of the larger orange dots.

Except for the addition of the brown dots, I've posted the basic design before with different colors on the head and a

different treatment of the tailing.
