James Daly2 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2010 Greetings all, The articulated onslaught continues. This is a very straight forward pattern. No frills, just size, color and profile. I had to get some bulk out of the dubbing so I opted for seal dyed black in a dubbing loop. It has decent movement and a nice translucency. The shell casing is black dyed white turkey and I used 5x for the rib. I'm pretty sure this fly will move and tumble on a drift. I can't wait to get down to the creek to test it. Now only if the thunderstorms would quit blowing out the creeks. I'm thinking the improvement would be a continuous curved nymph hook on a size 4 or 6. That would give it more life instead of the straight shanked streamer hook. The front is a 4xl size 6 and the back is a 6xl size 6. For your critique and amusement. -Jamie
