Thanks!

Any of the online stores will have them including Green Caddis ( the link at the top of this page) I hunt and collect most of my natural stuff myself but I do still buy the dyed stuff I need. Any hunting buddies? Have fun.

Try this link.

www.cabelas.com/

navigate to fly fishing, fly tying, feathers.

Most of the feathers are very reasonable. They even sell junglecock.

Edvan, what feathers exactly oare you looking for? If it is pheasant rump, and turkey tail, I may have some for you.

Thank you all for your reply. I just caught up after purchasing my $5 turkey tail feather. The shop has an ok selection but I was also looking for blue dun hackle and what they had was terrible but I need BWOs!

Can I get away with turkey tail fibers for phesant in nymphs and such or are they too different. (Yes, I am being cheap!)

Thank you all again!

Ed, yes you can use turkey tail for a pheasant sub. it is a lot darker but also a lot fuzzier. this is a nymph i have had great success with from trout to steelhead. it's easy to tie and effective. btw the turkey is easier for beginners to handle cause it's longer and stronger than pheasant. give it a try.

Two words...

Can be a bit embarrassing to stop and yank a few tail feathers out, but its a heck of a lot cheaper!
