smalliestalker 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 Ok....So I had some friends request this, and of course there was a thread started on here about making baby ducks or birds. Big fish definetly eat them...So here is my first stab at it. The head was made separate and then trimmed and attached with 30lb mono...It wiggles around when moved....Let me know what you think.... Big J 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 Awesome tie! That will defiantly catch the culprits who ate those baby ducks! Keep us posted on what that girl catches with it! I'm curious if its a Pike, LMB, or maybe even a big catfish.

Kirk Dietrich 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 Pretty impressive Smallie! Very nice tie, this could easily qualify for the Realistic Tying Forum. The tail feather does make it look more like a sparrow than a duck, baby ducks have an imperceptible nub for a tail, but I don't think the bass would turn down a bird and the tail feathers actually look nice there. Man, I'll bet the action of the bobble head alone will be enough to provoke a strike. Way to go. Â Kirk
Hairstacker 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2010 That is an awesome tie! Talk about thinking outside the box . . . . I really like that bird-like profile when viewed from below. Major kudos! Â -- Mike

navigator37 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2010 Nice tie and great idea. I saw a pike take a swallow off the water when i was younger. It was one of the most aggressive strikes I have ever seen.
