atroutbum2 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2010 the only place you want thread wraps showing is at the head, you have wraps showing where the tail is tied in. You need to hide these by starting the peacock herl wraps there , after tying the tail on, tie on the ribing material, take the thread back to the base of the tail, tie on the body material (peacock herl ) then wrap the thread up to the hook eye , have the rib and body material hanging over the tail of the fly and not the eye of the hook wrap the body material, tie it off wrap up the rib tie it off Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
