deeky 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2010 All I gotta say is there ought to be a nice bottle of scotch headed the other way across the pond - not only for the flies, but the potential fish in them. Very nice work. Deeky

Curtis Fry 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2010 Awesome as usual. That's deer hair I assume? Where do you get your materials?
smalliestalker 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2010 Curtis...Yeah it's deer hair....I use a local fly shop for my supplies...nothing extra fancy...I hand select the bags of hair that I want...I look for hair that is about 2 inches long with nice even color... Hairstacker 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2010 Great work! I especially like that last one -- aside from being very well-tied (as they all are), I especially like how the color of the eye matches up to the colors of the rest of the fly. How did you do that -- is the eye transparent from front to back? Very cool! -- Mike
smalliestalker 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2010 Hairstacker...thanks....the eyes are solid...I just got lucky that they actually matched up
