Bullet head flies..

I was wondering, do you coat your bullet head flies at all, say with finger nail polish, head cement or anything like that?

Or do you fish them au natruale?

Which is better?

I coat mine with Hard as nails nail polish. They seem to hold up better to being chewed on after.

I coat mine with flexament to make them last a bit longer in the fishes mouth also

Thats been an ongoing topic. I tried with nail polih but didn't like the look of it. I think there needs to be a primer coat before. painting

i coat them with cement but they still get tore up pretty fast

which is a good thing if you ask me because it means your getting bites

Nothing for me. Them getting chewed on is a good thing. And they continue to work for quite awhile, even if they aren't pretty.
