professori 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 If you will take a lost American in Nova Scotia , I'll join this one with a TBD later In Canada we consider you a Canadian who found his senses! :yahoo:
lykos33 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 If you will take a lost American in Nova Scotia , I'll join this one with a TBD later In Canada we consider you a Canadian who found his senses! :yahoo: Well truth is, I have been considering dual citizenship for a while. They haven't ran me out o' country yet , and I only get called a "@%#$% American" on rare occasion now, so I may just stick around a while... :hyst:
jacktjl 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 Sounds like a great swap I was too slow for. By the way I am originally from Wisconsin and the Canadians tell me I sound like a regular guy. How about that Yogi!
jburge 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Rich, It's gonna be a #16 X-Caddis for me. OldHat turned me on to this fly earlier this year, and it's been a go-to all summer. Had a day of non-stop action on Saturday using just this one fly :-) John
fishingbobnelson 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 I'm going to go "Old School" with the very first fly I learned to tie, "Grey Hackle Yellow (dry)". 55 years ago I think I tied it on a size 10, but will do a #14 for this swap.
Bugsy 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2010 Rich, I'll be tying up some Blonde Wulffs for this swap.
Bugsy 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2010 Rich, please PM your addy. Flies are tied...just need to make the tags and send 'em off. Hook: dry fly, std or 1xl Thread: black or tan Tail: light elk Body: tan dubbing Wing: light elk Hackle: light ginger (I used Fly Rite "#22 Cahill Tan" dubbing, tan Uni 6/0, and Whiting hackle on a #14 std dry hook) Yeah, yeah, I know it's not the best picture. Using my old camera (which I messed up the settings) on a new computer with lousy editor. In other words, my skills are limited and I'm feeling lazy.
