put something white behing the fly

this fly would pop with something behind it

if your camera has a macro lens use it

i turn off my flash then "fix" the pic with my computer when i upload it

i have a nice white fly plate on my vise stem but i think you could make one so much cheaper if your creative

it so helps with your tying and your photography skills because theres no background clutter

I made one yesterday out of a large manila file folder then put a piece of white printer paper on it. It really does make a difference! Talked my daughter into taking any future pictures for me ... she's our shutter bug expert and has a much better camera then I do
