Appreently I have offended balsa fly rod lures with this comment. I can't imagine why. If anything this comment should be taken that his work is great and when compared to a master like SP it holds up quite well.

 

Balsa don't be so quck to take offense like I said in my response to your PM you can't have that thin of skin. Besides this wasn't meant to offend. Relax Geez :bs:

There is one thing critical to making effective bass bugs, at least IMHO, and that is having an adequate gap between the back of the body and the point of the hook. Your gap appears to be PERFECT on all of these! You will have plenty of room to add your 'dressing' without any problem.

Competition is useful as it helps keep you from becoming self-satisfied with what you are

already doing. The end result of which is likely to be stagnation.
