Big J 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2010 Very very very nice fly! One question though, since you use deer body hair, does the fly float or sink? I know it probably won't be fished since its a gift and a gorgeous fly, but was just wondering.

smalliestalker 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2010 thanks everyone... Yes it floats When it is fished.....it falls to one side as if dying...when it's stripped it in it straightens upright for the most part...acting like a dying blue gill...I have a version that I do fish with...It has produced some lunker large mouth The first one of these I made took a few hours....I make a lot of them now for shows and collectors...They take between 1 2/2 and 2 hours... To see more of my flies.... www.gotbronze.blogspot....and on facebook....theinkedfisherman thanks again for the kind words
