Looks very effective, Interesting that you used deer hair up front. Bet it moves a lot of water, great pattern for us as well, I would fish it with confidence for Big Browns, steelhead, and Large Mouth Bass.

Welcome to the site from Pennsylvania. Nice flies. Someday I'd like to fish for peacock bass and dorado. They're very cool fish.

very nice fly and welcome! nice vice too, i just realized from seeing the picture what that extra knob i have is for...the rotary tension! haha i just put it on, nice... /me has a newb moment :rolleyes:

Very interesting, does the hook roll over (hook point rides up), or does the deer hair keep it upright? Cool idea, I'll have to give it some thought and trials. I do a similar thing to my Sculpin patterns, but I imbed the barbell eyes in the spun & clipped head.
