Hot Tuna 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2011 One of the great fly tying how-to authors...I still remember him reaching over my shoulders to demonstrate the then new Matarelli whip finisher....bingo! My condolences to his family...he was one of fly tying's greatest instructors. Fare thee well Dick.

SearchingSolitude 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2011 Dick's was the first Fly-Tying video I ever watched courtesy of my local public library. The Elk Hair Caddis and Wooly Bugger if I remember correctly.. I learned alot from him and his techniques. Another legend passes away. Where are the next generations legends? -Searching
