Guest Report post Posted November 6, 2003 Just to let everyone know we have secured a booth at the Fly Fishing Sports Show and Banquet that will be held in Cincinnati on Feb. 14 2004. They gave us booth space for free and they will be trying to figure out how to give us internet access as well. Talking with the Chairman of the show he said they average 700 people and this year they are advertising more this year and are hoping for a bigger turn out. I think this will be alot of fun and Big Daddy Hubbard and I are going to try to man the booth but if any member is going to be in the area we would welcome anyone who wants to sit with us, just let us know. We are going to try to have at least two computers hooked up 1 with people being able to browse the forum and the other hooked up to the game. I will also have some fliers and stuff printed out so I'm hoping we can maybe get a few members and meet some new people. Here's a quote from their website: QUOTE Our Fly Fishing Sports Show and Banquet have featured nationally recognized and respected speakers, such as Bob Clouser, Mike Lawson, Gary Borger, Lefty Kreh, Lee Wulff, and Tony Nixon. I didn't get a chance to ask who is speaking this year but if it someone well known we will do our best to get them aboard Let me know if anyone is going to be in the area

Guest Report post Posted November 6, 2003 SD, I'm not sure exactly where it is at I was planning on attending last year but something came up and I never made it. The guy is suppose to email me some details. I love to attend some shows that cost $$$ for booth space if I had the extra $$$. Even though there is no $$$ in the forum, I love this place and would pay $$$ just to spread the word!

Guest Report post Posted November 7, 2003 Let me know if you want me to tie up a box of flies to sell or auction on behalf of Forum expenses.
Guest Report post Posted November 7, 2003 Thanks John I was thinking about getting members to send me a few flies or something and maybe some pictures just to showcase the talent and the diverse interest of the forum members. Never thought about a raffle or something that is something we might be interested in.
