Frank G. Swarner III 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2004 Would anybody be interested in a January Steelhead trip to the Lake Erie tribs? Trip will be dictated by weather & water conditions January 2005 Thursday 6 or Friday 7 thru to Monday 10 or Tuesday 11 I have never fished in that neck of the woods so I would need some help from you guys with lodging locations, streams/creeks, fly/tackle shops, etc... I figured I would get the ball rolling with this post before the holidays get fully underway. Chip
Guest Report post Posted November 15, 2004 I am defiently interested. Most years it seems that the tribs are frozen solid by then but it is worth a shot to try for a trip. There are a ton of places to stay in the area so lodging won't be an issue.

Guest Report post Posted November 16, 2004 I'm in! That time of year we will have our pick of places. A favorite of mine is the Thunderbird motel on Route 5. Nothing more than trailers with a kitchen. Just a place to keep dry and warm They have a fridge to keep beer cold too
mcfly 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2004 Don't think we will have a problem keeping anything cool that time of year in Erie.
