Hum I'm thinking you mean GOOD buddy there LW..

I'm still game. Worst case is there is 10' of snow and we have to drink beer, tie flies, and listen to fish stories.

Just hope they turn the furnace on this time.

I'm back to work tomorrow after a few days off. biggrin.gif

I'll try and see what work looks like for that weekend; right now it is no problem.

Weather permitting I'll tag along; I need directions. help.gif

Now on these flies: what size sucker spawn ? #16's

And BROWN buggers--is that right ? Again, what sizes ?

thanks guys,

No Erie steelhead box is complete with out a supply of Sucker Spawns.

I carry size 18 to 12 in Pale Yellow, white, orange and pink.

Smaller sizes are used in low clear conditions.

Buggers in brown, black, orange, white, pink, black and chartruse.

I like them in sizes 10 and 8.

Of course there are many other flies that will catch steelhead.

If I make it, I'll be glad to share what ever I have that maybe working.

Directions, check Map Quest to Erie Pa zip code 16501.

I'll carry Chartreuse Buggers but I absolutely refuse to be caught carrying PINK.

Pfffft. Pink. Good grief.

I AM A MAN!!!

(Crap. My hands are really rough... where did I put that bottle of Jergen's?)

Looks like I'll get to see those PA rivers yet.

After a short discussion with Airhead it was decided to go this weekend. We're leaving early Sunday and returning Monday night.

Anyone gonna be there?

It was a last minute thing. Our original plan was to hit the Joe, but it's blown out. Running the Hyde in those flows isn't comfortable or even safe when anchored.

Sure hope he won't make me wear that damn blindfold bugeyes.gif
