Fly Tying Bench - Guido Barbacci

Recommended Posts

Guido - That desk is excellent. I have never seen anything like it here in Canada. Maybe I should mail order one in.

Thanks for the pics.

Nice desk and tying station. The desk is about perfect. I too do wood working and made my station.

Are those engraved wooden drawer labels? I have a phaograph machine and never thought to make my container lables. What machine did you use?

Ciao Guido,

Love the fly tying bench! I am planning a trip to Ascoli Piceno (marche) next year to visit family (I am from Australia). I have heard the River Tronto produces good sized trout on fly so I am keen on having a go. Where are you from and what dry flies and nymph patterns are common in Italy. I have noticed that flies used in Italy seem very elaborate and life like compared to other flies used in Australia

Look forward to your feedback
