DFoster 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2020 Here's a small Bow and Brookie from Saturday morning that I got on a #14 Elk Hair Caddis. The dry's were working well early until the overcast lifted. We have a drought happening here in Mass. Because the river I was on has the flow controlled by dam release it is one of the few in the state that's still fishable. By 10AM there were a lot of anglers on the river along with more Kayaks than I've seen in the previous 10 years combined. I could see plenty of 16" to 20" bows but they were real spooky which made for tough fishing. We have rain in the forecast over the next 3 days so hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
