Thanks. That one was a right over 30".
This one is from tonight. Another 30" fish. Well fed.
Not as big as a Red ... but a pretty little fighter all the same.
Off day today ... lots of little fish, but only one big enough to take a picture of. And this is one of those fish I rarely catch. 3 pound 4 ounce Tilapia.
Just another day fly fishing in the desert.......Complete with the ubiquitous Western Rattlesnake (it wouldn't be desert fly fishing without him)
All fish were released.
Haven't used my fly rod in a few years, went out today for some gills.
Forgot how much more fun any fish is on a fly!
17" Cutthroat from small Idaho stream. My personal best cutthroat.
Nice cutt! It looks alot different then the lct's then i catch out here in ca, is that a greenback?
It's an Idaho Cutthroat or Westlope Cutthroat.
Went out today. Wind was horrendous. At one point, starting the forward cast, it blew weirdly, and I managed to stick a blood worm imitation right in my arse cheek. I doubt any of you would want to see a picture of that though.
Thought I would tell you for your amusement
Also, thank God for barbless hooks hahaha
That's what you have for following PJ and fishing in the buff. I have a supply of cricket boxes, I mean elite flyfishers tackle protectors! That will sort you out and keep the flies away from your plums.
Hahaha if they come with a face guard too, I'm sold! A hot head cats whisker snapped back at me, felt like I was show with a bb lol
What I mind pic that is! Hockey mask, jock box and a flyrod. Sounds like something Kirk might try at the next carnival.
Hahaha I'm fairly certain that would get me the bank to myself
