mikechell 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2021 Got out on the St. Johns River, today. It was a very nice day, with temps getting into the low 70s. Got too breezy about 11. Caught a few bass, most smaller than these. I also caught some very nice bluegill. I didn't quite understand my new video camera, so no video this trip. TIER 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2021 Fishing was super tough in missouri for all the species. Bass, catfish, and panfish alike. I had fished for an accumulated time of around 10-12 hours and probably made over 500 casts and 4 of them had bites, and one of them was a fish. This was the hard-earned fish. ca Nice little chunky 2 or 3 pounder. I talked to a lot of people out on the water and they told me I was lucky to catch this fish from the shore. Most fish were caught in boats in deeper water.

mikechell 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2021 TIER, the pictures above were taken using my flip phone. I rarely take picture with it, since they usually turn out blurry. Luckily, these were usable. That is a very nice bass for this time of year there! Hard earned, but definitely worth it.

mikechell 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2022 Although it's not being "kind" to me at the moment, I love fishing the St. Johns River. It's what I always pictured "Florida" to be before I ever moved down here.
