JSzymczyk 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2016 4th of July Smallmouths from the Susquehanna River. The river is low and very clear right now; the bass were up on very shallow rocks this morning. Quite a few dumbasses in their big fancy loud jetboats complaining about how slow the fishing is.... sound carries across the water... I was just laughing in my kayak with my fly rod catching one after another.

mikechell 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2016 Wow! Roe hanging out, fat fish ... there's some weight on those catches. The second from last picture almost looks like a Walleye.

bigsky2 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2016 How does a guy go about posting pictures?
mikechell 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2016 From the "Site help" forum: For posting pictures you have on your computer ... So ... I had another member ask about posting thumbnails. Here's an SBS for it. Click the "more reply options" at the bottom of the reply box. Click the "choose files" button at the bottom of the advanced reply box. That will put you into your computer. Look up the photo you want to upload. Click on it and the "open" button, or double click the picture. You can upload as many as you want, before you start composing your post. As you write your post, you can "Add to Post" each picture where you want it. When you are finished ... click the "add reply" button at the bottom. And your post will now have all the pictures as thumbnails and clicking on them will open them to full size. Please reduce the size of your pictures before doing all of this. 600x400 pixels will give you a good size photo that won't be too large for the screen when someone opens it. FIN-ITE 34 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2016 Great looking pikes bigsky. I see you also did some damage with the wiggle tails. Good deal.
bigsky2 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2016 They were all pike, we caught 11 that were from 40-44". I was amazed at how many walleyes we caught on flies while we were targeting pike. It was the best lake I have ever fished as far as the average size of the walleyes, we didn't catch any under 18". We would keep 3 or 4 every day for our evening meal. islander727 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2016 Slowwww this morning. One 3" bass, followed by a 4" bass Was happy when this little guy took! Hit the canal, hooked a dozen of these guys. Then a gator took notice. He was two casts away, staring, so I left.
