I've been visiting the site for about a month and finally deciding to log in, i am still an ametour tier and am getting better. hopefully i will meet new tiers, learn some new patterns, and techniques, what is everyone's favorite nymph or midge pattern for trout in the Appalachian mountains and Red River Gorge area?

Hello, and welcomed nice to have another from Ky. I haven't fished the Gorge area for trout but some of the creeks that I have fished near the moutains I have used small brown buggers sz 12 or 14 and a number of midges and have mananged to hook a few. Good luck with the fishes!
