Tail: Barred Wood Duck flank Body: Peacock herl twisted rope with a strand of thread Eyes: Polished brass dumbell eyes to take the place of the original Edson "spoon" eyes Flash: a few strands of rainbow or peacock Krystal Flash Wing: Yellow bucktail Topping: Matching slips of red goose shoulder Hook: either 3366 or choice of 3xl streamer hook, or whatever Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

riffleriversteelheadslayer 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2011 here is something I use to tie as a kid its a mix of a buggar and a clouser I tied this one today in Christmas colors but it has caught many fish for me and my friends we all called it the cloggar Materials Hook: Mustad 3665 size 6 tail Marabou body: chenille hackle: black buggar hackle palmered wing green bucktail throat white bucktail eyes lead barbell tying instructions tie on eyes with figure 8 wraps bring thread to hook bend tie on tail hackle and chenille bring thread to eyes and wrap chenille tie off palmer hackle tie off and trim extra tie in bucktail clouser style form head tie off and go fishing Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
