CoachBob 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2012 Just put "vanish transition" in a search engine and you will find plenty of shops that carry high visibility flurocarbon line. Too easy.
Gene L 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2012 Not being a florucarbon type guy, I have a question or two. Since the main advantage of fc is its invisiblity in water, why go with a highly visible fc line? Why not just use bright mono, where you can get anywhere? Why not just use bright mono, where you can get anywhere? The problem with mono line for Tenkara is it is not dense enough. You need the weight of the fluorocarbon to cast a tenkara rod. You want the hi-viz to be able to see you line. TenkaraBums line is the brightest available. Other than that you could go to a furled line.
