4beader 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 I want to thank all who helped a while back when I was seekong some information about building a fly tying station. If I post correctly, here are a couple of pictures of my finished project. The cost was $12 for the cutting board, $1.80 for the brass rod, and the rest was scrap I had around the house. Guest Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Cool! looks like you got yourself a tying bench and at a great price too! Have fun with it! I really like the brass rod hanging rack on the back, I think I'll have to add that to mine.
dbl_shot 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Very nice job. Certainly beats the white drafting table and tupperware tins that I have been using. Just have 2 large bins - one feathers & one fur... Really like the brass rod very good touch. - Hansen

flybagman1522 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Very nice job 4beader. It does look more functional then the ones I've seen in the stores. Theirs are far more expensive than the one you made. I'm assuming the brass rod is a bobin holder. Rich
Frank G. Swarner III 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Great work!!! I like the recessed track around the base. Put a magnet in there and you have a great place to hold a few hooks while your tying. Chip
