Woodinfliezz 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2012 we have some ponds here on base and they vary i was fishing a black size 6 wooley booger the pickerel i hooked up with fast jerks and long pauses on the retrieve he hit it on the jerk though over a weed bed that i had just came over the top of with the booger. the bass there is a drain tube that comes from one of the upper ponds here on base into a lower pond i was fishing the white water/foam and i would let the water carry it i had about an 1/8oz split shot about 2"s above the booger and i would just let it sink after it sat for about 10 seconds i would jerk it up and let it sink again they always hit it on the fall though great day
