nyFLYguy05 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2012 During winter time on Longisland, i have flies on my mind 24/7, dream of gill flares and check the internet for sick videos to get the blood pumping even more! Soon (during May until Dec) I will be back mateing on the charterboats and slinging flies! PLEASE check this video out, in my opinion it has to be the sickest vid I have seen regarding fly fishing. eastern fly 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2012 Very nice video. It must be nice to hook something that could weight as much as you do. I have seen just how big tarpon can get when I was in the Navy. lykos33 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 I grew up in Florida and fished my whole life. On numerous occasions I have hooked tarpon while fishing for other species. Thrilling fish even on spinning and casting gear. I have only lipped a few small ones but have been spooled more than once by the big boys.
