Recommended Posts

Hey all Im just getting back into fly tying. I mainly fly fish for bluegills and bass right now but im hoping this year i will be able to hook a salmon, steelhead, pike/muskie, and maybe some smaller trout. Im looking forward to learning everything I can from this site. Tight Lines to all

Welcome! You'll find plenty of help and ideas here.

Even though I'm in Ohio (barely - Toledo), I'm still a Michigander by birth and the first 30+ years of my life, and still consider it home. Love to annoy the Brookies "Up North", and the 'gills around here by waving the fly rod at them.

Welcome to the FTF from a non-Michigander. (Closest I've ever been to Michigan is I-80) If you're a bass guy, be sure to check out the saltwater section as well. It might sound weird, but a lot of patterns are good for both warm water and salt water gamefish, especially baitfish imitations and crayfish/shrimp/lobster patterns. Hope you enjoy the forum.
