gpd4 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2012 Well, I was making decent progress until last night. I got them all sanded, mounted, filled, and primed and base coated. I got one all colored up and ran out of air on the second one. Bummer. Anyway - off to Michael's this morning and they wanted $27 for a (large) can of Copic air! Even with the 40% off coupon they fill my mailbox with every week that's still way too high. I saw a post last year on fitting a soccer ball valve and bike pump to an empty can - I may have to look into that...or buy a compressor... Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

oatka 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2012 gpd4 - if you cut the soccer ball and use a bike pump, use a foot pump. I used an upright pump initially but switched to the foot pump a few months ago.
