The bass are showing by me in the bays and creeks - bunker and spearing are almost in full swing! Love this time of year! Going to give it a go this weekend! Peterjay 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 I was down in Virginia this past week, and I saw some big bass brought in there. (the season isn't open as far as I know - I don't know what that was all about - maybe they were confiscated fish or something like that????) I was too busy to get out on the boat, but the water was 66 degrees and the flounder fishing was gangbusters when the wind wasn't blowing.
