Nick Williams 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 I haven't been able tob find this forum on tapatalk. Is it not on there or am I looking in the wrong way or place? Using tapatalk is so much simpler for me, so I'm curious as to whether it's on there or not. Thanks!

Nick Williams 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 Yeah, I'm talking about the app. It is so much easier to use, but I just can't find this forum on there! What is the ip board forum? I haven't heard of that one.
flytire 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 it doesnt belong in the fly tying section. the "site help and suggestions" section would have been better tapatalk has already been discussed a month or so ago and was found not to be necessary by the owner of the forum http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?showtopic=65080&st=0&p=495431&hl=tapatalk&fromsearch=1entry495431

bluegill576 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 Ip board forum is the name of an app that you can access forums from. It works pretty well. Just go to the app store an type in "ip board forum" and it should come up.
Nick Williams 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 I wasn't sure where to put it, live and learn! I just recently tried Tapatalk so I wasn't sure about it. That's unfortunate though because it is very simple to use. I looked up IP Board Forum and all I found was IPB Buddy, is that the one your guys are talking about? It didn't seem like a forum reader. JSzymczyk 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 Why?? I can just use the forum "as-is" on my Not So Smart Phone by just using the web browser. Why use a middleware app when you can just go straight to it?

You don't really nee it but it just makes it a little faster to get to because it saves login info and I can get to the forum with just one tap. Yeah, this is exactly why. Tapatalk is just very streamlined and efficient to use. Having middleware doesn't matter, what matters is what's easiest. Safari is just not the best browser and is frustrating use compared to using Tapatalk for forums anyways. And I can also post pictures directly from the app as well which is nice since I only take photos with my phone. I do realize that it doesn't come down to the few of us who want it, but to the overwhelming majority. I was just curious as to why not. But I do recommend trying out Tapatalk if you havent, you will be surprised by how much easier it is.
