brandon natelli 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2012 I just got some congo hair from the dungeon and have been tying up a bunch of congo hair baitfish. What do you all think? Suggestions. I tie my flies to be fishing flies. This one was tied on a mustad big game 2XH/STD 0.015 lead wire wrap and gsp 100 denier white (I've been too impatient to wait for mono--local fly shop doesn't have any yet) Thanks

Rocco 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2012 You can slim it down by using a dog grooming scissors that has teeth with gaps between them. Start at the tail and work forward brusshing out the cut fiers as you go. The end result will still have a taper near the front to move water and help activate the more svelte sections in the middle and rear. Good luck.
