They suspend just under the surface depending on your strip speed and the Smallmouth come up and get'em! Saddle feather tails add a little more body to the profile in the water. Rocco 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2012 I have this theory regarding a fly lipped Murdich Minnow. Tie in the fly lipp on top of the hook and then complete the Murdich minnow. Fished on a fast sinktip line -- it should (yeah sure) slowly wiggle nose down as it follows the sink tip on the drop and then rise to the surface with a tighter wiggle on a fsast lie strip.
