Murdich Minnows

The water is low and clear, perfect time for some Smallmouth on Murdich Minnows. They suspend just under the surface depending on your strip speed and the Smallmouth come up and get'em! Saddle feather tails add a little more body to the profile in the water.

I have this theory regarding a fly lipped Murdich Minnow.

Tie in the fly lipp on top of the hook and then complete the Murdich minnow. Fished on a fast sinktip line -- it should (yeah sure) slowly wiggle nose down as it follows the sink tip on the drop and then rise to the surface with a tighter wiggle on a fsast lie strip. The fluttering fall and darting rise should trigger any smallies in the area. Let you know if it works...
