A Few More Poppers

Recommended Posts

Working on my poppers still! They're still cork, though, but I'm getting better at my paint jobs and I'm starting to get a routine down for carving them. But anyways here is my small "flotilla" of poppers! Still learning...

Thank You and Tight Lines,

Carson LeBoeuf

Enjoy!

They look great. How do they cast? What weight are you using to toss them?

I got to try out a few yesterday, and I had no problem casting them with my 6 weight Wonderrod.

Carson, I like your creative use of colors. Beautiful bugs, I like the variety of tails you're tying too. Good looking photos displaying your work.

Thanks a lot, guys! I'm still learning and still working on em. My dad's going to let me use his old dremel, so I'm gonna have a new toy to play with!

I'm with you on the brite sparkle stuff! I think the sparkle gets the fish "amped up".... makes for great smashing strikes! The doll eyes help in that too...I just use glitter fingernail polish...looks like you're using flakes???

Yes, sir, I agree that it really does get the bass on the move! I just use, like you said, some sparkly nail polish covered with Loon Hard Head. They got me some 4+ pounders at the pond yesterday! AWESOME STRIKES!
