iFly 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 Sorry for the bad picture....I need to start using a better camera. Phone camera wont focus well in lower light situation. But I've been tying these in strong numbers lately....theyre light, swim like a baitfish and suspend well. I like the slow sink rate for sight casting redfish in the shallows. Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2012 I can really see the water churn. What' the recipe?
iFly 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2012 Thanks, and yes its Senyo's Laser Dub. Hook: Owner SSW 2/0 (pictured) Thread: doesnt matter Tail: Maribou or Rabbit. Original recipe calls for a Magnum rabbit strip but I think thats too big so I just use a regular. Body: Laser dub Eyes: 5/16" Adhesive Eyes Its a pretty simple tie, if theres interest I can do a SBS.
Peterjay 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2012 Great looking flies - I suspect you're right about picking up a camera though.

iFly 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2012 Caught anything on them yet? Sure have. I broke off a decent red the other day up on a flat during the flood tide (the fly was the one on the top, actually). Ive given some to friends and theyve caught fish on them. They work for the neighborhood bass too (what doesnt?).
