Li'lDave 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 Sound like a plan? 10 flies to be tied each and you won't get any of yours back. If I can get 5 plus myself we'll each get 2 of everyone's tie. But if we get 10 tiers, well, you know the deal.... Being an Aussie I will tie a pattern I use on barramundi... As these two species fill the same niche. Standard rules apply. I'll set a due date when we fill the spots. But at this stage we'll look at the end of September. So.... Who's in? Li'lDave - Marabou thing size 1/0, with single spike mono weedguard. Received. 1. Agn54 - TBA. Received. 2. Rich Mc - floating Shannon streamer. done 3. Horseshoes - something 'clouserish'. received 4. Piker20 - somethingsomething inspired... Received. 5. Djgunter- something cool.... Received 6. Lykos 33 - Congo polar mullet. Received 7. Saltybum- needlefish. Received 8. Ditz. Received. 9. P.G. Beckett. Received. 10. Li'l Dave - whistler style. Received. IN THE MAIL BACK TO US ON 02 OCTOBER! Its a tough time... So what better than a bit if therapy by fly? SWAP IS FULL DUE DATE 28 Sept 2012! mikechell 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 I am eagerly working towards being good enough to join these swaps. It wouldn't be fair to anyone receiving a fly from me, and I'd get flies that would just make me jealous of others tying abilities. But I'll be joining these soon. Horseshoes 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2012 Dave.. fill me in on this snook. I'll try and dip my net for some patterns not sure if I'll join because I'm not sure what I'm joining. That doesn't sound too good does it? would a deep clouser be good in a 4/0 or so ?or is that too big?

Li'lDave 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2012 Ok. Got a great offer from Rich this morning. To make things easier for everyone. Rich has suggested that we all mail our flies to him for sorting and redistribution. I love the offer and hope that y'all will too. Still plenty of room.... Have been experimenting a but this afternoon and think I really like the ties you're going to get from me.
