The Atlantic Salmon, Lee Wulf, full of info. 1000, Hot Bass Flies, Klausmeyer, have not read it yet but have it ordered.(I think thats what it is called) Here is an Idea check your local library and see what they got you will be surprised how many books are out there, if you like them you can order them for your library if not you have read or at least looked through another book and might of gained some new info. CharlieD 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2004 Salmon Flies, Their Character, Style and Dressing By Poul Jorgensen. I have learned more from this one book than from any of the other 200+ books that I have. And I still refer to it on a regular basis. Charlie.

Guest Report post Posted December 30, 2004 "Fly Tying Made Clear and Simple" by Skip Morris. Best foundation for tying that I caould have gotten and still good as a refresher for how things "should" be done. After that number two would be (combined) "Fish Flies" vols 1-2 by Terry Hellekson. Though "Hatches II" must always be considered valuable to the fly fisher in many aspects.
