TheTom 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 Hello, Im a newbie to flytying and my english isnt great, but i hope ist will work. Maybe i can improve my tying- and english skills at once in this forum... Now to the topic: I want to fish for walleye in a lake with a floating streamer on a sinkline. Do you know a tying instruction for such a fly using foam? Tom
MIKE*A 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 Welcome aboard! The crease fly sounds kind of like what you are describing.....it was designed for saltwater use, but I have tied it in smaller sizes for freshwater and fished it on a sinking line www.flyfishsaltwaters.com/Creasefly.htm I have also had luck catching walleye on bunny strip leaches (very easy to tie!) in black and/or olive Mike
