This wet fly is based on old finnish salmon fly "Black Wave". I just love the color scheme on this fly, cannot help it..

Beautiful!!!!! Rolsen, that is art!

Great looking and nice job. Love the colors as well. I need to get some goose shoulders and duck feathers and try my hand at some of these.

i love the colours on that too! Blended perfectly, most excellent tying and photography - so tempted to have a shot at these traditional wets soon.

Restocking the box a bit last night, did up a few # 16 and #18 "Jail Bait" emergers. This fly works well as is in the 14-22 range... but some times when you are getting into really tiny versions, the same general color scheme but tied as a tread body on very small hooks - 24-28 - can work great.

(EDIT: pic's not coming through... hopefully my second try worked...)post-24830-0-50169100-1359294297_thumb.jpg

Another Stimulator. Size 10 Black Peacock Ice Dub for body and Orange PMD Bull Frawg for the head.

This one turned out pretty well. Hackle lengths are good and tail and wing are lined up as well. Tail isn't as bushy.

Box Full of Fox

Different size foxee clousers and mixed media flies ready for trout and bass season. I plan on filling the other side after I get more of my trout box filled up.
