ian1104 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Hi, I just tied this up, its similar to the queen of the waters variant on here but I used grey mallard wings. Just wondering if it's worth fishing or a waste of time! Suggestions or improvements also welcome! notenuftoys 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2013 Looks great! The tail is a bit long, but fish sure won't care. Nice job!

Bryon Anderson 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2013 Nice fly -- looks a little bit like several different bugs, and exactly like none, just like all the best patterns. With that hackle and tail you can fish it dry, then, if there's no strike on top, pull it under the surface film and fish it on the swing through the rest of the drift.
